MIKA Project Partners provided full Owner’s Representative services for the adaptive reuse of a 20,000-square-foot warehouse for Bar K, located in St. Louis’ emerging Grove District. This distinctive project transformed an existing industrial structure into a one-of-a-kind destination that blends hospitality, entertainment, and community engagement.

Bar K includes a bar, restaurant, event space, and both indoor and outdoor dog parks, creating a dynamic environment for guests and their pets. The facility also features dedicated spaces for adoption events, education, and programming, reinforcing Bar K’s mission of fostering community connections while supporting animal welfare.

Completed in January 2021, Bar K has become a vibrant neighborhood gathering place and a model for creative adaptive reuse.
