Overview

In Fall 2021, KC Skin began exploring opportunities to expand their practice while remaining rooted in the same community. When the nearby Mid-Continent Public Library vacated its existing building for a new location, the opportunity aligned seamlessly with KC Skin’s long-term vision. The practice acquired the facility with plans for a complete renovation tailored to its continued growth.

The renovation allowed KC Skin to double its exam room capacity, add a second procedure room, and introduce a med-spa—an expansion the physicians had envisioned for years. Mika Project Partners was selected to serve as Owner’s Representative, managing the project from planning through completion and supporting the successful delivery of a space designed to meet both current needs and future growth.
