Overview

MIKA Project Partners served as part of the Owner’s Representative team for the City of Lenexa’s $75 million, 200,000-square-foot Lenexa Civic Center. This multifaceted development includes a state-of-the-art community center with fitness, aquatics, gymnasiums, and the region’s largest indoor walking track, along with a modern City Hall featuring a 250-seat auditorium.

The project also incorporates a public market and civic plaza that host community events and local vendors, a five-story parking garage serving the campus, and a strong focus on sustainability. Both City Hall and the Recreation Center achieved LEED Silver certification, resulting in a cohesive, community-focused civic destination for the City of Lenexa.
