MIKA Project Partners served as part of the Construction Management and Owner’s Representative team for the Kansas City Zoo’s new Aquarium Exhibit, a major expansion of the Zoo’s educational and visitor offerings. The 68,000-square-foot facility features 30 to 40 freshwater and saltwater exhibits housing approximately 600,000 gallons of water.

Completed in 2023, the Aquarium immerses guests in aquatic environments from around the world, enhancing conservation education and visitor engagement through a highly specialized and thoughtfully designed exhibit.
